Information you share with us

When you submit an inquiry, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company or brand, website, inquiry category, and message. An event inquiry may include the organization hosting the event and the details you want us to consider. Newsletter signup collects your email address and subscription choice.

Please share only information relevant to your request. Do not send payment-card details, identification documents, health information, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.

How we use it

We use inquiry information to understand your request, route it to the right conversation, reply, and manage any resulting business relationship. We use newsletter signup information to send the Road2Retail updates you request and maintain your subscription preferences.

Submitting a contact or event inquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using their unsubscribe link.

Services that help run the website

We use Wix to host the website and its content, and HubSpot to receive forms, manage contact and subscription records, and send newsletter communications. Wix also supplies website analytics, tag-management, and consent-management components.

Your browser also contacts external services when it loads features or content. These requests can include your IP address, browser/device information, and the page or content requested:

• Fonts load from Google Fonts.
• Playing an episode connects to the podcast audio host identified by our feed. Following a Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, partner, or other external link takes you to that provider's service.
• Where a form uses Google reCAPTCHA, the service processes technical information to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse.

These providers have their own privacy information: Wix, HubSpot, and Google. Review the relevant provider's policy when using an external service.

Cookies and browser choices

Our hosting, form, analytics, and security providers may use cookies or similar technologies to operate their services, measure website use, and protect against abuse. The technologies used depend on the features active on the site and the choices available to you. Browser controls can block or delete cookies and restrict third-party content, but some forms or media may then stop working. Those settings do not remove information you have already submitted to us.

Keeping information and handling requests

The time we keep information depends on its purpose, the status of your inquiry or relationship with us, your subscription choices, and any recordkeeping requirements that apply. Unsubscribing stops newsletter delivery; it does not necessarily delete past correspondence or the record needed to respect your preference.

You can contact us to ask about information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and will explain any limits that apply.
